Has anyone ever heard of a dog having seizures in the face? His face will move up and down for about 2 minutes and then stop. The vet thought it was an ear infection but he took medicine for it and that didn't stop them.

No I have not heard of that but it very well could be so, and it might be a nerve twitching and quit. If the dog is not that old, it could out grow something like that. Lets hope so if it is not really bothering it, I would not worry too much, sometimes if we let things alone they take care of thereselves.

It doesn't seem like he is in any pain during the seizures. He had blood tests done and everything came out normal, except his "liver enzymes were elevated." I don't know what that means but the vet said to have more blood work done in 6 months.

I've heard of seizures that affect the face muscles. Some dogs get a far away look and drool. One site recommends giving the dog a chew bone when the seizures start.
Your dog's sound mild compared to others I've heard of. I would also start a journal recording when they occur and any changes you may have noticed the days leading up to the incident. Then you can take that to your vet so he is properly informed. You might even want to video tape it so he can see exactly what the dog is doing.
I hope your dog is ok.

Thanks. A second opinion might be a good idea.
