R.I.P Boomer

I'm sorry to say that my bird Boomer died in my arms tonight. Truly out of nowhere I found him at the bottom of the cage breathing hard and I scooped him out, and soon after, he was gone. I'm gonna miss him terribly! R.I.P Boomer, I love you!

:( Thanks for caring guys. Seems like everyone thinks I'm stupid to cry over a bird, but I guess they don't understand what Boomer meant to me.


I also have a question to ask. Boomer had a little buddy Trixie in the cage with him, she seems to be distraught. Do you think I need to get her a partner or should I get her a mirror or something? She's been with Boomer for a little over a year, so I think she's sad. What should I do? This all just happened so sudden. :(

I think getting Trixie another bird friend would be a good idea. Hopefully, it will distract her from missing Boomer and ease her loss a bit.
