The first egg

Peanut laid an egg today. For those who don't know, she is a yellow-sided green cheek conure. The male is a cinnamon split yellow-side. He is only about 7 month old, so I don't know for sure if the eggs will be fertile. He has been mating with her though, so we'll see. Also, this would be the first clutch for both of them. I'll let you all know in a few days if this one is fertile.

It was way too bright with the flash and you couldn't even see the egg, so you have to look for the egg in the dark instead. The first one is of Peanut sitting on the egg.

I was just thinking of your two GCs yesterday and wondering how they were. Congrats on the clutch to come. Hope they are fertile! Let us know as soon as you do. Maybe you could do pictures of them as they grow like you did with your tiels.

Lol. Yeah, I'm a teen grandma. You don't hear that everyday. If they hatch there will definitely be lots of pics of them growing up.
