This is the second coolest cat ever (next to Fez hehe). I don't talk about him much because he isn't being kept at my house. He's at my parents house and when I moved out they loved him so much we had to battle over custody LOL. I figured they can keep him, since he was already used to that house, etc etc..Just made things easier. BUT that doesn't mean he isn't my number one (or err..one and a half) feline! ;-) He was my first real cat, I found him on the street when these mean, disturbed (or should I say under the influence) boys were really messing with Ricky! Like, I didn't think people were that mean to animals (I was only 14 at the time, hadn't experienced much I guess!) but I HAD to rescue him. Soooo needless to say my dad was NOT happy about another animal in the house, but soon grew so attached and now, as stated above, they are basically inseparable! lol..
I don't know how I always manage to rant on for so long, I just wanted people to know Ricky's story! It's worth being mentioned to fellow petlover's I think. ;-) Anyway, here's a pic of the big hairy ex-tomcat that won't hurt a fly, hehe:

Oh Jennifer....that is one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen! I can very well see where there would be a custody battle :D She looks mighty healthy and comfy so looks to me you made a good decision! What a sweetie:)

Yeah, my dad wanted to name him Lucky but I thought that was so cliche lol.. We decided on Ricky because, umm, I guess it sounds like lucky according to my dad! lol..
I wanted to ask something pertaining to those guys and ricky's "story", but not so sure about the text of it. It has to do with illegal things they were doing.......and how it might affect Ricky. Anyway, I guess I'll just say they were blowing (the illegal) smoke in his face thinking it was halarious if the cat got "high", and it may have messed him up permanantly. I mean, he's the sweetest thing I have EVER seen, but he's slow and kind of...just slow I guess (doesn't really respond to noise, doesn't really react to things falling near him, etc). I hate to say that but does anyone understand what I mean? It doesn't obviously affect his health or senses, I just don't know if that substance could have that affect (like kill brain cells or something) on an animal.
Any ideas, could my "theory" be relevant in any way? Like I said, it doesn't matter either way, he's my Ricky! And he's been with us for so long (6 years now) I'm just glad I could help him in the first place! Just seems weird to me, I know Fez and every other cat I see for that matter are territorial/predatory animals who are usually ahead of their game, and in constant awareness of their surroundings. Ricky doesn't really seem like that, he's so laid back.

Ricky is georgeous!! He has a really neat face. I don't know about animals but THC (illegal substance) only COATS brain cell in humans. It eventually discapates c/s. Maybe he was abused and has an old injury that makes him slow down...poor baby.

Yeah, he may just "be" old too, I mean, he was this size (and this way) when I found him 6 years ago. Just stinks if that is really what happened with those, but he's fine and lives like life a pretty normal (spoiled) kitty, lol. We'll never know I guess.
