I got a puppy kong toy and Kong stuff'in for my puppy today but I dont know how much Kong stuff'in I should insert in the kong toy. I kinda filled it in the kong and my puppy licked it all in about 15 mins. Does anybody know how does the Kong work and how much Kong stuff'in should I give to my puppy per day? Thanks

Too make it last longer you might try freezing it. I am not sure if there is a set amount you should give them per day.

Those kong stuffings have a lot of ingredients in it that might not agree with your pup. I usually put plain low fat yogurt in mine and seal up the ends with peanut butter and freeze it. It's kind of like a puppy popcicle.

you can also take part of your dogs meal soak it in water add some peanut butter mixt it together , then freeze it in the kong and give it to him. That helps it last longer

I mixed her food and some reduced fat peanut butter and inserted it in her kong toy. She loves it! It keeps her busy!! I freezed it but it only last about 30 mins or so. I gave her about 3-4 times a day. Is it too much for a puppy? the total amount of peanut butter is about 2-3 tea spoon and a hand full of her food. ( per day ) Thanks

Be careful about the peanut butter. I didn't know what I was doing the first time I used it, so I FILLED the kong with it (she'd had it before and liked it), then froze it overnight and gave it to Molly the next day in her crate when I went to work. (This was when she was still nervous about us being gone) HOLY HELL did I have an unpleasant surprise when I got home- all that fat made her horribly sick, the poor girl was standing so as not to get in the both-ends sick that was all over the floor of the crate, her legs, and her tummy. She got a bath, the crate got a bath (and bleached), and I learned my lesson.

To this day, even a teaspoon of peanut butter makes her violently ill, when before the kong incident, she could eat it, no problem.
