I had a parrakeet Ducky that spoke human, when I was without teeth for three years he was my reason to carry on, then he got cancer and I put him to sleep so he wouldn't suffer. It's been over ten years and I still miss him so. I had a puppy Shony who only lived two and a half months who had heartworm when I got her. She too went to Animal Heaven. Now I have an old wire terrier who has arthritis like Mommy and I will grieve her soooooo much but I know one day we will all be together again.I love them all as much as my human children. I also have a goofy chocolate lab that has seizures that really tears me up but I will always be there for them just as they are for me. It hurts real bad but I know I have to go on and take care of the ones who still depend on me. I will always love them all forever.......

Hi Shepard, thank you for sharing your pets with us, it is so hard when they leave us and so hard thinking about ever being without them again, but they live in our hearts forever, we never lose ther there. You sound like a great mommy to your furbabies and someday you will meet them at Rainbow Bridge where they will run to you with no disease and no pain and happily playing.

I am so sorry, I know this horrible feeling, like many of us do, many years later ... I am glad we remember them and I am glad we know what IMPORTANCE they were in our lives. It's ok... they are up there romping, flying, crawling and swimming around together ... happy ... and awaiting us.

Grieve, but be happy you were graced with this love in your life.
