I've heard a lot of people saying "boycott Iams boycott Iams!". I must be uninformed on this, but what's wrong with Iams? I thought it was supposed to be very healthy for your dog...

Iams is NOT a helathy food. Here is a link to all threads regarding Iams on this site. We have a search feature and you can type in a keyword and see what has been discussed before.

The problem with IAMS and Eukanuba is that they test their products on animals. They ave been working on cleaning up after themselves and starting to do right but we still need to stay on their butts about it. Here is a website that will help you understand more.

Iams is also a subsidiary of Procter and Gamble. If you purchase Iams, wouldn't you also be supporting P&G? Is it true that P&G still refuses to stop testing on animals? After all this time and all the attention drawn to them they are STILL testing on animals?!!

They try to make you think you are being good to your pet, when you are actually supporting a very cruel company. Thanks for the info.I am returning every Iams product I have.I will never again buy Iams,I will have to try other foods to see what my lab can eat.Buddy my lab mix has food allergies and is hard to feed, but I will find something else.
I can't consider myself a caring pet owner when feeding I ams.
Thanks for opening my eyes on this one.

I have convinced my entire extended family to not feed Iams.My MIL was very upset to learn about this. She no longer feeds Iams.As far as I know she was the only one using it.I told every body else about it though.
