Hi, this morning i went to my room and saw my cat drooling alot, at first i was thinking it could have been rabies, but she's never been out without me keeping supervising her. does anyone know what this could be?

The only way your cat could have rabies is if she was bitten, or in some other way, saliva of a rabid animal entered her bloodstream. This is highly unlikely if she is an indoor cat and if you do supervise her while she is out. Has she been vaccinated? Most states do require rabies vaccinations for cats as well as dogs. Regardless, it does not sound like rabies. Sometimes cats will drool if they are nauseated. One time my Oh was drooling a LOT and I took him to the vet and it ended up he had a bad spider bite on his tongue! Watch your cat carefully and if it does not stop I would have her checked by your vet...or at least call the vet.

Have to agree with Jo, it doesn't sound like rabies. Check her teeth. You didn't mention her age, but she could have a bad tooth or infected gums which could account for the drooling.

Yes I agree. A cat with a tooth problem will drool.
