:p hi..his name is zach and he is 7 yrs old now. he has been a faithful companion to me. i lost my hubby 12/28/02 and i had ovarian cancer so i adopted pets instead of having kids!!! zach is my baby, although i have 4 rabbits and had a pair of white doves,sadly the female recently passed away and i try and spend extra time with the male since i know what widowhood is all about!!
i am about to become a granma again thanks to my rabbits. i had 14 at one time. the 1st 2 were supposed to be the same sex. i kept the original pair and gave all the babies of first litter away. the second litter i was able to find homes for all but 1 and the third litter, i found homes for all. my husband's favorite was an all black female..bootsie.. and she was only aboout a month old when he died so i couldn't bear to part with her.
after that litter, i seperated the male..the other 3 are females and live in a big cage together. i guess on cage day (cleaning day 1/week) they male and females must have been out at teh same time. don't remember, but since leon died, i dont remember much, except how he loved me so much that i could bring home any animal and he would let me keep it. i did have a calico cat chloe, but my hubby brought home a $900 persian that someone gave him. this cat was a preditor. at 1 time i had 4 doves..he killed two, tortured my rabbit (the male jesse) and attacked my dog. neither he nor my chloe were fixed yet they fought all the time. she was pregnant at that time and he attcked her one day and she had 2 kittens. they both died within 5 days and after that she ran away. when she was outside she neve went further than my husbands utiliyt trailer. i have not seen he since, and that was 2yrs ago. we found snow-the preditor a good home, the last straw was when he went after zach. now zach loves small animals..i think him and my april bunny have a thing 4 each other!, and he wanted to love snow, but he got attacked in return. snow only lasted here a few short months and we gave him all the chances in the world until we came to the conclusion that he needed to be in a home where he was the only pet.
so, thats all my babies...how bout u?

AWW thanks zach! LOL Right now, I don't have any dogs or cats, I have a cockatiel, his name is Kit, I have 9 snakes- Brooke, Masquerade, Shayla, Sadie, Caesar, Pandora, Xandira, and Mason, and Tiger; also, I have a horse named Gimly.

I'm so so so VERY sorry to hear of Leon. I do not know how that feels, but I'm sure you are glad you have Zach and all your bunnies there to cheer you up all the time =) I know I would be. Snow sounded like trouble, that's really too bad she had such a bad temperment when she was around other pets. Oh well, some are like that. Please tell us more stories, I'm sure we would love to hear cute things about your Zach!
