My Maggie Died On saturday the 22nd

:( My babby died on saturday the 22nd of last month
I remember all the good times i had with my little girl she loved to run
especialy when the gate would be left open she run away all the time i guess that a stray for you
she is always gona be in my memory for ever
i loved her so mouch
i got her when i was 11 year old and she was 7 months old then and now she would have been 15 in Dec


even worst 2 weeks latur on satuday
her vetinarian died
they both
have heart atacks
in there sleep
My Maggie was going to be 15 in Dec
i miss her so mouch

i now have a new puppy a 4 month old beagle i am so afread that Maggie dose not aprove of her
i dont know i am so :confused: what do you think please

Im so sorry for your loss :( . I know Maggie would approve of your new pup... animals have unconditional love. Although you can never replace Maggie.. and she will live forever in your heart... you can fill that void, let another dog into your life and love you. Sending prayers.

my pups name is Lady
she is 4 months old pure beagle she is a blue beagle
when maggie past i just layed in bed and cried for ove a week
and they broguth me this cute little puppy and i had no choise but to get up and take care of it i couldnt even walk at first
now cage training is the hard parts she crys at night so mouch that dad will take her out and put her in bed with me then she sleeps
then at 4 in the morning she wakes me up and starts teething on me and kissing me for over 2 houres till she gets tired
but i still miss my maggie
i dont know do i still yous this name on her or do i let it rest with her and just honor it every nwo and then and make a new name up for Lady please help me with this thank you

I say keep the name for as long as you need to. There is nothing wrong with it. I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost a pet myself and know the pain. Maggie would want you to move on and give all the love you can to your new baby. She knows your love for her was strong and you would never replace her.

Im so sorry for you :(... i know its hard when a pet you love dies. It makes it much easier when you just try and remeber all the good times and fun you had, and think about all the time you have now to enjoy it all over again with your new pup :).

I agree with Patch in that this new puppy may have been brought to you for a reason. And the fact that she cries and cries until she's in the bed with you may be Maggie's way of comforting you. I know it sounds strange but hey, who knows?

I thought about your question and if you should keep Maggie's name on your profile. How about combining Maggie and Lady's names? You could try LadyMaggie or Lady's Maggie or Maggie's Lady...and so on...Just a thought. :-)

I m so sorry for your loss of Maggie. I know that words cannot express how heartsick you must be but you have a new baby to love. I am absolutely positive Maggie would approve! To lose a pet is to lose a dearly loved family member. I understand your grief totally. Have you thought of posting a Memorium to Maggie in the new forum Mourning and Remembrance? We would love to hear all about Maggie and what a great life she had!
