brought our chihuahua home 2 months ago - advised yesterday by vet Squeak's heart is almost 3 times its normal size - not given much hope - kids are heartbroken - any advice?????????????

I am SO sorry to hear this. It doesn't take long to get attached does it? My advice though is to get a second opinon. My mothers vet told her her cat had a heart murmer and needed surgury. She went to another vet who said she was fine. What did your vet advise you to do?
