Homeopathy for pets-F.A.Q. Q.1.why use Homeopathic drugs in this age of smart antibiotic and super fast drugs?
ans.use of drugs in modern medecine is not uniformely governed by any law.they are given on physiological basis, analogy, chemical antidoting, and even emprically. in short drugs are aimed at individual annoying symptoms, killing bacteria etc, instead of constitutional cause of the disease.the results are uneven, palliative and worst supressive.
dr .Gavwande professor atHarverd medical school says "medecine is an imperfect science,an enterprise of constantely changing knowledge and lives on line. there is a gap in what we know and what we aim to do, and this gap complicates every we do.
this constant change in medecine is is best sumerised by sir Johan Weir"the science of today becomes the nonsense of tomarrow.

it is true that any medical/dentistry is not an exact science, did you know that the #2 rate of suicide is dentists? people come into the dental office expecting perfection and when it isn't their idea of perfection boy do they get all bent out of shape and think that now they are a dentist and went to school for it so they know what they are talking about!! 60 minutes or 20/20 did an investigation and went to 50 different dentists with the same problem and got 49 different diagnosis'!!!!! it really comes down to who you trust. can't tell i work for a dental office can you? Thanks for the interesting post, Homeovet. I just finished reading a book on holistic medicine, and boy was it interesting! I can't say I agree with everything, but I agree even less with lots of the "Western" medicine of today. I guess being in India the medical world is different, though probably still many similarities to the U.S. I want to be an avian/exotic animal vet so am very interested in homeopathy, so please tell us more about what you do! It seems like most doctors are into putting out the fire instead of preventing it, so to speak, which I don't like. Interesting thing about dentists too Teri...I'm related to 2 almost 3, thankfully I trust them all and none of them get "bent out of shape" too often! ;-)
