HI JUDY:

I wanted to let you know I have just read your thread under my post ... it was very lovely. I know it is hard to navigate around the site here and think your wonderful post should be in the "introduction" part of our family so that everyone may see. With your permission and permission from one of the Moderators here ... I would like to copy and paste it there. I live in Virginia, USA with 14 cats and three dogs! I love them dearly. Please click on my screenname and read my profile and feel free to write a private mail if you like. I/all of us here would like to hear more about your family.

I noticed that you wrote another thread in the "funny bone" section of the site that stated a not so "lovely" description of us here ... I am assuming you read possibly a joke or riddle that did not agree with you ... if this is so, please do not be discouraged or misinformed about this site and please take the time to read a bit through all the forums. Everyone here is dedicated to their furry or feathered children ... their wellbeing, care, etc.

Laurie

Sorry... But I do care alot about animals. You have it all wrong. Think before you post some bs like that! I have a young Grandmother and found it funny that the big dog took the old lady for a ride. I sent it to her and she laugh her *** off. There is nothing wrong with finding humor in lifes situations. No animals were harmed in any of these videos as far as I know. Who are you to say how much anyone cares for animals? I take that with great assault.:(

I am really sorry you misunderstood all the members here from this one thread.

Alicat620 has summed it up quite nice.;)

After writing "Judy" a private mail (same as one I posted), she responded and allowed me to post this as well. But first, I want to list her very first of only two threads, the mail concerning this thread follows after:

First thread in the "cats" (general discussion):

hi iam judy i live in england in asmall house with 2 cats and 1 dog cats sassy + mitz dog penny my lovely girls hey iam new to this whole thing my first computer its taking what seems like forever to get to grips with it login logon download paste copy so if by any chance you get this mail lets keep on doing what were doing loving and caring for are animals with all our hearts but it will never measure up to the unconditional love they give us in return sorry about the spelling to many years have gone by since i sat behind a desk judy

And the private mail she wrote back concerning the "not so nice" thread in the "funny bone", and after reading my email/thread:

humble pie

hi alicat620
its miday here bright +sunny, so just about to take pen on the beach for an hour or so.I dont mind if you want to paste, post, or whatever else it is you do, and you were right i was offended, at the video jokes but maybe a bit eager to tar everyone with the same brush i apologize for that.Ok that over with, i live in blackpool, its a seaside town with a reputation of tacky glitter, fish + chips, and kiss me quick hats. But to its much more than that it has a what i think a beautiful coast line the water isnt blue because the sand isnt white. Its darkblue, grey, green + sandy colored on a winters day when the the wind is blowing the sea into a frenzy its awe inspiring thats what i think anyway we all have are different ways of seeing beauty seems ive run out of space talk 2 u again alicat620

Hi Judy,

I think you'll find if you read through this site that all members here have animal welfare at heart. Don't let one thread with spoof videos put you off.

I love Blackpool, been there many times. I used to live in Morcambe :)

Honestly, as far as this thread goes I do not see what is wrong with it. Nobody hurt the animals in these videos (except for the stuffed one!:p) Yea, some animals hurt themselves but that is everyday life. We all do silly clumsy things. Just because they are animals doing it should not make it wrong for us to take humor in their clumsiness. I know if my friend ran herself into a wall like the sheep did I would probably be on the floor laughing and I am sure she would be doing the same. Heck if it were me that was the clumsy one I know I would be laughin at myself. So, hopefully that may have lightened this whole thing up a little bit. Maybe? :)

When I saw the one with Grandma with the poddle I almost fell over. I had a lrge shepard mix and my mother took care of him for a while and he would pull my mom all over. That could have been my MOm and she has a great sense of humour.
