So now I have some more birds....I'm going to try cooking more often for them besides just the regular birdie bread.
I went to the grocery store and this is what I got:
a pumpkin
bean soup mix
brown rice
I'm going to soak the bean tonight, and cook it tomorrow w/ the brown rice.
Right now I'm blanching the pumpkin, in hopes of softening it up so I can cut it to smaller pieces...
I'll let you know what the critics think!
Oh yeah, I emailed Lafeber asking them for samples, and they gave each of my bird a little bag of both avicakes and the nutriberries. It came after only 3 days of me emailing them! I was pretty surprised!
I also sent away to Roudybush, and when that comes, I'll let you know what they send!
