The kids love it when I fill an ice cream cone with whip cream. They don't get these often so it is really special when they do. Chico looks like he is grinning and Ciara is taking car of business, lol.

I do dress them every day. When I first got Chico, he hated it so I did not force the issue. But he started trying to put clothes on himself when he saw how much attention Ciara got with clothes. Monkeys very much need a consistent routine. So we eat, bathe and get dressed. No problems at all. When Chico needs a diaper change he will turn his rear towards me and lay his head down with his butt stuck in the air. He doesn't move until the clean diaper is on. Ciara has always been prissy and has to have clothes on. After her bath, while I am drying her off, if I say oooohhh Ciara, you are naked... she will cover her chest, lol. They even wear pajamas at night.

Thank you Pepsidoodle. They are very much like us, it is eerie sometimes. I have had Miss Ciara for 3 years, I got her at 2 years old. She was no longer the cute little baby they had purchased, so sad. They have missed so much, she is an awesome little girl.
I got Chico a few months ago at 5 years old. He was a rescue, he was very abused, it still makes me cry to think of how he was treated. I would love to have 15 minutes in the ring with his previous owner!!!! He is such a love bug!

LMBO Bo!... Im cracking up about Chico and the diaper change LOL.... and Ciara being naked :eek: hahahaha... thats too funny. Do they fight like siblings?. Do they like to go outside and play.. or go bye-bye?. To be honest.. Im really surprised they cant talk. They are so much like us I wonder why they cant talk.... but then, maybe its a good thing... Im going through the teenage years right now and wish my daughter couldnt talk sometimes LOL. Its so sad people have to abuse :( .. Im so glad Chico found you. I just love it when you share them with us.... big thanks and hugs to you and the kids!.

Chico is a lover boy, he doesn't like to fight. He tries so hard to be friends with Ciara. As long as I am not looking, Ciara will groom and kiss Chico. If she catches me looking, she will hit him or pull his hair. They love to go bye-bye. They like to play outside, especially if it is raining. They love to go swimming. I have always wondered why they can't talk! Although Ciara has no problem communicating what she wants. Sometimes it takes me a minute to figure out what Chico is wanting. I have an 18 and 16 year old daughters, so I know exactly what you mean, lol. Chico is all of 14 pounds soaking wet, it took a BIG man to abuse him. I will never understand those kinds of people.
You should see them when we go somewhere. They both ride strapped in a car seat. They stretch as far as they can to aggrivate each other or pick at my daughters, lol. I am glad that you enjoy the pics.

How can people be so evil?!!! I am so glad they are with you in your loving home. Poorbaby Chico. I get aggravated sometimes with my pets but never would I hurt them. Mel gets me up in the middle of the night. I let her out. Pepe skwalks her brains out. I skwalk with her. Some people should not be able to own a pet. Let me at em!!! :mad:

There are so many people out there that get monkeys for personal, selfish reasons. I love my baby boy so much. Could never imagine someone harming him. Loved the pics of Ciara and Chico. I'm a new member and not quite used to sending pics, but I was able to post a couple on the Introduction Forum. Look forward to seeing more pics of your babies! :)

I feed them oatmeal in the morning and before bed,they have monkey biscuits available all day, different veggies, small amounts of fruit (they love pomegranates)sp?, they eat what we eat for supper,love raisin bread with philly flavored spreads, and for a very special, very occasional treat they get to go to Wendy's drive thru and get a small frosty. :eek:
I wonder if the monkey you had when you were small was a woolly? I have heard that they use to sell them in just regular stores.
