I rescued a puppy and she had diarreha for 5 weeks due to all of her worms and intestinal infections . The vet got rid of all of the yucky stuff, but the diarreha would not stop. So I call Dr. Jones... I LOVE my vet and he said to give her 1/2 cup of pumpkin pie filling with her breakfast and dinner. I thought he was nuts!!!! i agree. just make sure you use fresh or the plain canned. it is much better for them. also great for anal gland problems. another good remedy is acidophilus. when ive had a problem with the dogs or cats in the past, i just put 2-3 capsules on their food, and everyones been fine within a few hours.
