....to the board. Your Maxima is just beautiful. I love cockatoos and I frequently play with a lovely Umbrella too at our local pet store, she is such a huggy girl.
I have a maxi pionus, 4 budgies, and 1 cockatiel. They keep me very busy and I adore them. Tell us more about your Maxima (love the name),

We named her after our the Dutch Princess (We are from Holland) She is from Argentina and married our Prince two years ago. Our too is almost 5 months old and we are busy weaning her. She is just adorable. She loves to hug and cuddle, she is sitting on my shoulder as I type this message right now. She is not very noisy, she only has her crazy five minutes each day :D
We just love parrots and we are thinking of buying another one, but we haven't figured out which species yet, because we are afraid they won't get along

But anyway, we are so happy with her, she cost us a fortune, but she is well over worth it!

....after a "princess"! Sounds like your Maxima is definitely the princess in your household....how lovely.

You know, I have heard that if one wants to introduce another parrot into the flock, it is best done when they're very young. So now is probably the right time. I have also heard that birds from the same continent get along best. Why don't you consider a rosella too. They are so pretty and "pink". It would be a nice color contrast anyway lol.
